Running the company out of a garage in Long Beach, CA, Tres Noir introduced its first collection in spring 2006, and started exhibiting at Car Shows, Tattoo Events, Music Festivals, and random Kustom Kulture events. The reaction and the demand of the product was overwhelming. In spring 2007, Tres Noir launched their 2nd collection and moved its headquarters out of the garage and into the current office and warehouse in Anaheim, CA.
Tres Noir Optics produces quality, handmade sunglass frames and accessories. Its popular line includes the Tres Noir Vengeance, Waycooler, Havana Affair, Bombshell, Kabuki, Cherry Bomb, Jezebel, Salty Dog, Crusher, Neutron Bomb, and its very first pair, the Police & Thieves Sunglasses.
Every pair of sunglasses is made by hand from acetate sheets. Never mass-produced in a mold, each pair is produced in small runs and limited quantities. A sunglass that was not mass-produced was the Tres Noir vision. Each frame features shatter resistant lenses which provide 100% UV protection. The brand is currently carried across the United States and internationally in Japan, Australia, and throughout Europe. Gracing the faces of some of the top bands, artists, and scensters, Tres Noir has become a noticeable player in the sunglass industry.
