Forum Snowboards is a snowboarding company owned by Burton Snowboards. It was first started by Four Star Distribution and pro snowboarder Peter Line in the summer of 1996. It also owns outerwear companies Four Square and Special Blend. The Four Square team consists of Pat Moore, Peter Line, Jake Welch, Jake Blauvelt, and Eddie Wall. The Special Blend team consists of Joni Malmi, John Jackson, Stevie Bell, Nic Suave, and Daniel Ek. All are currently on the Forum team.
For the 2009 season, Forum has a fairly new line up of boards which includes The Hundreds, Grudge, Seeker, Symbol, Scheme, Roost, Destroyer, Substance, Raider, Youngblood, Mini Youngblood, Stomper, Manual, Recon, superstar, Craft, Spinster, Star and Aura. The 2009 season also produced some new and some improved bindings. They are the Arena, Republic, Faction, Lien and Recon for men, and the VSP, Moda, and Aura for women.
Forum has been making some of the best boards, boots, and bindings since they began in '96. Over the past few years they have been expanding their product line to appeal not only to the freestyle kids but also to the freeride shredders out there. Forum boots are known for being light, comfortable, and stylish while Forum bindings have been ahead of the game since day one, and now feature some of the most effective toe caps in the market.
